Become a volunteer!
We are collecting a $75 deposit to be refunded to those who satisfy volunteer requirements.
University City Little League is 100% run by volunteers. We need help in the following areas each season:
- Manager/Head Coach
- Assistant Coach
- Team Parent
- Umpire
- Scorekeeper
- Field Maintenance (especially fence set-ups and take-downs for games)
- Snack bar volunteers (roles are: grillmaster, light fare and cashiering, snackcart)
- Event volunteers: opening day, hit-a-thon, closing day, post-season tournament hosting in June, July 4th EdUCate! celebration
When you register your child, you have the option to select a volunteer role. Please follow the instructions below to sign up. Here is a
short video describing the process.
- Click "Login" and use the same username and password you used to sign up your player. If someone else registered your player, you can create your own account and choose the option to register as a volunteer.
- Once logged in, click "Volunteer Opportunities"
- Select the role you would like. You may have to use the arrows to scroll.
- Fill out your information, answer the questionnaire, & upload a photo of your Driver's License.
- You will then receive a link via email to complete the background check.
Background checks are required once per year. All coaches, assistant coaches, adult umpires, and team parents are required to sign up to volunteer via our registration site each season and complete a background check. Coaches and Board Members must satisfy additional safety training requirements.
Livescan Fingerprinting is required once ever for Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Board Members. This must be done once for UCLL, even if you have been checked for another organization, and should be completed before the start of the season. You do not need to repeat if you already did this in a previous season. More information will be provided as coaching assignments are finalized.
