2026 Spring Baseball
University City Little League has been an integral part of the University City community for over 60 years, and our league continues to grow at a rapid pace! UCLL is a 100% volunteer organization that provides an opportunity for boys and girls age 4 through 14 to learn the fundamentals of baseball and to build pride, sportsmanship and a healthy self esteem. We promote teamwork, communication and community involvement. UCLL is looking forward to a fantastic Spring season and are so glad you will be on the field with us.
UCLL Spring Baseball is divided into three divisions. T-ball, Machine Pitch (MAPS and MAPS Prep), and Player Pitch (Minors, Majors, Intermediates). Within each of the Machine and Player Pitch divisions there are multiple levels that have slightly different rules in order to make the game more enjoyable and playable by the caliber of baseball experience within that level. Placement at a particular level will be the result of the player drafts that occur after player assessments. While there are some little league rules related to age, assessed skill will be the primary determinant of leveling by the coaches and player agents during the team drafts. The goal of Little League and the UCLL Board is to provide appropriate parity of competition at each level so that we as a league can continue to develop and challenge all players, preserve appropriate safety, and create a game that is fun for those playing, coaching, and spectating.
League age is the player's age on August 31, 2026. See the little league age chart
here
.
Ages 4-14 are eligible to register for the following divisions:
Tee-Ball (age 4-6)

Required Forms:
Our league requires the following documents from each player. These are required prior to assessments, players may not participate in baseball activities without the required forms.
Birth Certificate - upload to registration site. A Birth Certificate is required to verify age.
(Ages 8 and above only)
Proof of Residency
- upload your school enrollment verification form or three documents confirming home address to your profile. More info can be found
here on our website
.
Medical Release Form
- upload OR bring to player assessment day. Coaches will need these on-hand in case of emergency.
A couple important changes for this season:
Friend requests will be allowed for tee ball and MAPS Prep divisions, but due to the number of requests and practice night preferences, no request is guaranteed. Friend and coach requests are not accepted for older divisions as these teams are drafted by our coaches.
Each family is allowed to provide one night that can be identified for potential practice conflicts - given the league size and schedules, requests for multiple conflict nights may not be achievable.
Everyone will be charged a non-volunteer deposit during registration, including board members & coaches, which will be refunded if 4 volunteer hours are achieved per participant.
Volunteers will express interest in a role and wait to confirm with their Manager (Team-based opportunities) or to be assigned (League-wide opportunities). Additional volunteer options may be advertised during the season as well. We'll offer non-volunteer fee refunds at a few different times during the season, depending on when you're assigned a role and/or meet the required minimum number of volunteer hours.
* Refund fees will increase from $10 minimum to 50% of registration after January 10th, to cover umpire, jersey, & equipment costs.
* There is a $75 non-volunteer deposit, which will be refunded if you meet volunteer hours.
* Registration fees include baseball jersey and hat.
*UCLL may have inter-league games within District 32, depending on enrollment numbers (Intermediates Division). This will require travel to other fields outside of UC.
