We have seven divisions for players based on their age and ability as
of April 30th.
Challenger
This division provides boys and girls 5 - 16 with disabilities the opportunity to experience the emotional development and fun of playing Little League Baseball. For more information click here.
T-Ball (Ages 5-6)
This is a basic introduction to baseball. The players learn the fundamentals through practice and games. Players hit the ball off of a stationary "T" and play in the field with coaches nearby to help with instruction.
CAPS (Ages 6-8)
At this level, players improve their fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. They hit the ball from both pitching machines and pitching from coaches.
Minors (Ages 8-11)
The skills that the players have been accumulating finally come together as they now work as a team pitching, hitting and fielding the ball. Fundamentals and sportsmanship are still stresses along with the strategies required for competitive play.
Majors (Ages 10-12)
This is the level of play you see in the Little League World Series on T.V. Players continue to refine their skills and compete at a higher level. All league age 12 year olds must play Majors (starting in 2008).
Juniors (Ages 13-14), Seniors (Ages 14-16) and Big League (Ages 16-18)
These are the highest levels of play in Little League baseball. Games are played on a regulation size baseball field and follow rules similar to those found in professional baseball.
